# NGC 7761, the host galaxy of SN 2002ef, is a lenticular
# (SA(rs)0^0^:) galaxy, which would produce only SNe Ia.  The
# discovery magnitude is nearly the same as the expected maximum for
# a typical SN Ia.

# The host galaxy of SN 2002eg, UGC 11486, produced SN II 2002dv on

# maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 17.3.
