[vsnet-campaign-sn 373] SN Ia 2002bo

Dear SN watchers,

We have submitted an article attached below to CBAT. SN 2002bo is
of type Ia at the very early phase, but with notable extinction.

---
SUPERNOVA 2002bo IN NGC 3190
   H. Kawakita and K. Kinugasa, Gunma Astronomical Observatory (GAO),
K. Ayani, Bisei Astronomical Observatory, and H. Yamaoka, Kyushu
University, report: "a low-resolution spectrum of SN 2002bo (IAUC
7847) was obtained on Mar. 9.6 with GAO 0.65-m telescope (+ GCS; range
380-750 nm), which revealed that it is of type Ia about two weeks
before maximum light. The continuum suggests that it is highly
reddened. The expansion velocity derived from Si II absorption
minimum (rest 635 nm) is about 19000 km/s.

Sincerely Yours,
Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan
