# The host galaxy of SN 2001gb = IC 582 (spiral) makes a pair with IC
# 583. It superimposes on the outermost region of the peculiar-shaped
# disk. The expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 16.7.

# SN 2001gc locates about 9" east-southeast of the nucleus of the host
# galaxy = UGC 3375 (SA(rs)c), superimposed on the inner part of the
# disk. There is a foreground star (mag about 14) about 18" northeast
# of the nucleus. The expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about
# 16.1.
