IAUC 7720 informed that the position of the new object is: R.A. =
3h44m30s.57, Decl. = -44o38'23".7 (2000.0), which is about 14" west
and 20" north of the center of the tilted spiral (SAcd:sp) galaxy NGC
1148.  It is superimposed on the disk region.
