[vsnet-campaign-sn 226] Re: (fwd) M74 supernova??



See the two attached ST9E CCD .jpg Images of M74, through my LX200 12" at
f/10.  These were taken on 20001204 at 20h 48' 8" EST, in East Killingly,
CT.  The raw image is 6 X 30" co-added exposure at -20c and this image is
available through myself, on E-mail request in either "FITS" or "SBIG"
format.  The first image is simply processed for display purpose and shows
NO detail near the galaxy core.  The second image is processed to show
detail very close to the galaxy core.  Please and note that two bright
probable foreground stars are seen in this image near the core.  I hope
these images are helpfull.
