[vsnet-campaign-sn 70] SN 2000dj too rapid fading?
SN 2000dj too rapid fading?
As reminded by Yamaoka-san, the reported SN 2000dj may not be a supernova.
If the observation by Sostero is correct, the reported fading of 2.8 mag
in 1.6 d is exceptional for a supernova! The object may be a foreground
recurrent eruptive object. Further observations and search for old
materials are highly encouraged. The speed of decline may be acceptable
for a normal outburst of an SU UMa-type dwarf nova.
