The H-alpha emission line is basically unchanged with its maximum brightness now estimated to be 6.2 times that of the surrounding continuum, and the FWHM = 5035 km/s. At October 12.0006, I measured V = 10.60 +/- 0.03. I used the same seven magnitude standards that were used last night. If I may, I would like to dedicate the discovery of this nova to my former student and dear friend Janet Mattei, Director of the AAVSO, who is now recovering, we all very much hope, from a serious set of illnesses. All the best to all, Bill Liller
