From: "Sebastian Otero" <varsao@fullzero.com.ar> Date: Fri, 22 Aug 2003 00:39:33 -0300 Subject: [vsnet-chat 6783] Nova Crucis 2003 chart and ST Crucis Dear all, I have prepared a chart for the new nova (with ASAS-3 data) available at: http://ar.geocities.com/varsao/Carta_DZ_Cru.htm Note that ST Crucis position is slightly off in the GCVS. ST Cru is CPD-59 4219 at 12h25m45.74s -600'00.2" (2000.0) (UCAC-1) This mira has a very large amplitude. Only a couple of cycles recorded by ASAS-3 show it varying between 8.1 and 14.4 (V). The GCVS period of 440 might be right. Some more years of continuous observations are needed. Regards, Sebastian.
