Date: Sun, 2 Mar 2003 18:07:58 -0500 From: "W.Liller" <wliller@compuserve.com> Subject: Novae For Sebastian, Keith and Doug and all other devoted nova observers: Believe me, I for one continue to look for novae, not just in Sgr and much of the Southern Milky Way but in the usually rewarding Magellanic Clouds. The reason why there have been no novae lately? I feel confident that the statistics of small numbers is to blame. Now that Sgr, Sco, Oph and Aql are up high enough in the morning sky for our Japanese colleagues to patrol, there should be more discoveries coming soon. And I hope to be writing soon. All the best, Bill Liller
