Subject: [vsnet-chat 5009] Discoverer of Variable in Mon
Greetings all,
I thought I'd provide a few details of Nick Brown, the discoverer of the
peculiar variable star in Monoceros. Nick lives in my home town of
Perth, Western Australia. He is a long time visual variable star
observer who has specialised in faint CV observations. Until recently
he had a 25" reflector, but since March 2001 has concentrated on a
photographic nova patrol.
He does not have access to e-mail and actually phoned through to Dan
Green with his discovery observation! I had lost contact with him, but
have now established contact with him now, so will be available to help
him with any further discoveries.
Cheers
Andrew Pearce
