Nova Aql 2001 very rapidly fading?

   Several observations reported on May 18-19 suggest that the nova has
faded to 13.6-13.7.  In spite of the long-lasting premaximum halt,
the present rate of decline may be unexpectedly rapid.  Quick and frequent
follow-up observations (multicolor photometry, spectroscopy etc.) are
therefore very wanted.

   A summary of recent photometry will be posted later.
