Possible Nova in Pup (Kanatsu Object): spectroscopic line IDs The wavelengths of emission lines are Fujii's measurements. The suggested line IDs are by M. Fujii, K. Ayani and T. Kato. The identifications shorter than 6000 A seem to be relatively secure, except the strong 5906 line. The possibility (a) gives suggested identifications allowing a substantial systematic velocity, while the possibility (b) is closer to the rest frame. The (b) identifications below 6000 A are the same as (a). (c) represents (selected) suggested identifications by Wagner et al. (IAUC 7556). obs (a) (b) (c) 4522 4523 Fe II 37 4592 4584 Fe II 37,38 4633 4629 Fe II 37 4744 4630 Fe II 43 4783 4831 4814 [Fe II] ? 4861 4861 H beta (weak) 4933 4923 He I/Fe II 42 5025 5017 He I/Fe II 42 5176 5170 Fe II 42 5244 5234 Fe II 49 5285 5284 Fe II 41 5325 5317 Fe II 5379 5378 [Fe II] or 5364 Fe II 48 5431 5426 Fe II 49 5544 5535 Fe II 5677 5755 no indication of [NII] 5810 5875 5876 He I 5890+5896 Na I absorption 5906 He I red component + Na I 5894 Na I (5990) 5991 Fe II 46 6023 5991 FeII 46 ? 6108 6084 FeII 46 6105 Mn II, 6113 Fe II 46 6165 6148 FeII 74 6156-6157 O I 6161 Na I 6253 6238 FeII 74 6248 Fe II 74 6312 6300 O I ? 6300 O I 6434 6407+6417 Fe II 74 6433 Fe II 40 6467 6457 Fe II 74 6457 Fe II 74 6594 H alpha 6563 ? 6580 Ca I 6685 6678 He I 6823 7130 Shemmer et al.
