Possible Nova in Pup: prediscovery observations by Y. Nakamura

   Yuji Nakamura (Suzuka, Mie, Japan) reports the following prediscovery
observations on his patrol films.  The object was unseen on his Sep. 26.780
exposure, giving a conservative upper limit of 12.0 (probably fainter than
12.5).  The major rise of the object took between 2000 Sep. 26 and Nov. 23
(Haseda's observation).
