[vsnet-campaign-nova 99] Possible Nova in Pup: position

Possible Nova in Pup: position

    Our first inspection of the CCD images tonight shows the object more
closer to the following USNO star (also pointed out by Rod Stubbings).

USNO0600.03989187 073756.871 -255658.78 (2000.0) 14.2 14.1
2MASS 073756.881 -255658.85 (2000.0) 12.270 11.933 11.515

    Detailed astrometry is in progress by Yamaoka-san and G. Masi.
