Dear Dr. Kato, and other observers, Sorry for the delay in replying. I spent last week in the conference in Bormio. The last report on V1493 Aql is by Vitaliy P. Goranskiy who estimated mV=17.42 in 13/2/00. I guess that this nova is too faint for most (all-?) amateur observers. Any other inquiries?
