Haven't you been monitoring this star visually? You were the only observer who reported WX Cen observations (before you started CCD observing) to VSNET. If this monitoring activity was not discontinued, the combination with the ASAS data must have revealed hitorical behavior to a greater extent! I am also interested in long-term and short-term variability of another bright SSS/V Sge star DI Cru, and I would encourage observations similar to those for WX Cen. The ASAS-3 data have not shown large variation in DI Cru, though. Regards, Taichi Kato
