[vsnet-campaign-ip 1] New list: vsnet-campaign-ip

New list: vsnet-campaign-ip

Dear Colleagues,

We have set up a new list, vsnet-campaign-ip, as a sub-list of
vsnet-campaign, which has been used to exchange messages between VSNET
collaboration members in conducting VSNET campaigns, esp. cataclysmic
variables (CVs), X-ray transient outbursts and other explosive objects
like novae and supernovae. The new list "vsnet-campaign-ip" is totally
devoted to dedicated campaigns of intermediate polars (IPs), particularly
for intensive spin period observations, which are announced on the main
vsnet-campaign list.

The list is rather strictly restricted for the campaign usage.
Although we don't put strict control over the sender's preference of the
list (vsnet-campaign and vsnet-campaign-ip), detailed follow-up observations
(nightly progress, outburst state update etc.) should be more directed
to this vsnet-campign-ip list. Notifications among the collaboration team,
introduction of new targets, regular Weekly Summaries will be posted to
vsnet-campaign, so that all collaboration members (not always dwarf nova
observers) can have a chance to know the change. Of course, important
notifications (such as discoveries, noteworthy changes in the campaign
targets, important progress, call for new observations etc.) should be
directed to vsnet-alert as before. For discussions of general interest,
please use vsnet-chat as before. VSNET administrators may forward such
messages to other VSNET lists when necessary.

The initial list of vsnet-campaign-ip includes members of vsnet-campaign.
If one wish to subscribe or unsubscribe to vsnet-campaign-dn, please send
a message to vsnet-adm, with a text line

SUBSCRIBE vsnet-campaign-ip your e-mail address or
    UNSUBSCRIBE vsnet-campaign-ip your e-mail address

Please feel free to distribute this message to interested parties
or persons who may be interested in VSNET collaboration project.

Regards,
Taichi Kato
on behalf of the VSNET administrator team
