V551 Sgr: positive period derivative? Dear Colleagues, The VSNET Collaboration has received new data from Chris Stockdale, Berto Monard, and Roland Santallo. The data still clearly show superhumps, although there is some indication of the secondary humps. The mean magnitudes show some deviations from the linear trend, possibly suggesting either beat phenomenon or rebrightening. Timing analysis of the superhumps has yielded a slightly positive period derivative. This Pdot is seemingly unusual for this superhump period. Further observations are strongly encouraged.
