V585 Lyr: first determination of the period change Dear Collagues, The VSNET Collaboration has further received new data from Jochen Pietz, Rudolf Novak and Tom Krajci. The best superhump period determined up to now is 0.06022 d. As expected from the shortness of the superhump period, there is already evidence of positive period change (disregarding the earliest evolution phase). The preliminary superhump period derivative is at an order of dot(P)/P = +6x10^(-5). More detailed analysis is in progress. Further observations are strongly encouraged!
