OU Vir: further observations Dear Colleagus, We have received new data on OU Vir from Tonny Vanmunster, Jochen Pietz, Brian Martin, and Nyrola team (Petri Tikkanen). The object is still superhumping and showing beat phenomenon associated with the eclipses. The superhump amplitudes were 0.2-0.3 mag on May 10-11, but decreased on late May 11 most likely because of the superposition with eclipses. The mean superhump period up to now is 0.07505 d, and there is a slight tendency of a period decrease at dot(P)/P = -(several)x10^(-5). A more exact value will be later calculated when the data set becomes more complete. Please keep the current excellent observation. OU Vir may enter the rapid fading stage in a few to several days. The present coverage is becoming a most impressive one covering almost all superoutburst plateau phase. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
