Var73 Dra: another superoutburst! Dear Colleagues, The Kyoto observation (observers: R. Ishioka and M. Uemura) has confirmed that Var73 Dra, an unusual SU UMa-type dwarf nova in the period gap, is undergoing another superoutburst. This superoutburst corresponds to the beginning of a new supercycle next to the superoutburst in 2003 February (vsnet-campaign-dn 3430), and Nogami et al. A&A in press (astro-ph/0302538). This detection of a new superoutburst has established the stability of the unusually short (60 d) supercycle, at least for four supercycles. Such a long-term stability of supercycles was not confirmed in NY Ser, another in-the-gap SU UMa-type dwarf nova with a short supercycle. Further observations are naturally encouraged! See VSNET page: http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/DNe/var73dra.html for more information. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
