[vsnet-campaign-dn 3220] VW Tuc rare? outburst
VW Tuc rare? outburst
As reported by Rod Stubbings, the dwarf nova VW Tuc is undergoing
a possibly rare outburst. Although there have been substabtial gaps
between observations, the last reported outburst occurred in 1997 November
(Rod Stubbings). The object is in the SMC field, and is also known as
SMC V0012 = HV 6327.
Time-resolved CCD observations are strongly encouraged. As usual,
please send your selected outburst CCD images to Yamaoka-san
(yamaoka@rc.kyushu-u.ac.jp) for accurate astrometry and identification.
