CU Vel: further observations from Peter Nelson

Dear Colleagues,

   We have received further very high-quality observations on Dec. 16
from Peter Nelson.  The light curve now clearly shows a transition from
the early stage superhumps.  A preliminary timing analysis semes to have
further strengthened the unusual period change (slightly positive Pdot).
CU Vel must be an ususual SU UMa-type dwarf nova in its superhump period
change.  A full analysis with the updated data is in progress.

   Further observations are still very encouraged!
