V2209 Cyg outburst? -- needs confirmation

    M. Moriyama (Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan) reports that V2209 Cyg = Var66 Cyg
may be in outburst.

CYGV2209       20021104.652  155C  Myy.VSOLJ

    This dwarf nova was discovered by Antipin.  Antipin reported that two
types of outbursts (long and short) exist.  The duration of short outbursts
was 6 d, suggesting that the object is an SS Cyg-type dwarf nova, rather
than an SU UMa-type dwarf nova.  Nevertheless, further confirmatory and
follow-up observations would be meaningful.
