V344 Ori outburst confirmed (possibly further brightened)

Dear Colleagues,

    We have confirmed the outburst of V344 Ori on the images taken by the
Kyoto team (observers: R. Ishioka and M. Uemura).  The object may have
further brightened since the report by Mike Simonsen.  Further intensive
observations are encouraged.
