[vsnet-campaign-dn 2847] KV Dra observation from Arto Oksanen

KV Dra observation from Arto Oksanen

Dear Colleagues,

We have received the following report and data from Arto Oksanen.
We have also finished analyzing new four sets of excellent runs from
Torii-san (RIKEN), which also covered the fading part as Oksanen observed.

The full analysis of the data will be reported by Uemura-san.

Dear Sirs,

Here is another night of KV Dra data from Nyrola. The star is now very dim
(CV=16.5) and the superhumps are very small or nonexistent. Some indication
of short timescale variation (~5 min), but hard to exclude from noise.

Unfiltered 60s exposures with 0.40 m SCT + ST7E CCD.
Observation timespan Sep 11 20:15 - 21:36 UT. Clear sky, but high humidity
and bright auroras.

The reference star (C) is the V=13.185 comp star from AAVSO f-scale chart.

Observer: A. Oksanen

best regards,
