BF Ara data from Peter Nelson Dear Colleagues, We have received new data on BF Ara (Aug. 23 and 25) from Peter Nelson. The first set of the data shows 0.1 mag superhumps. On Aug. 25, the amplitude of superhumps decreased to 0.05 mag, and the profile becomes more complex. The object may be entering the rapid decline stage, or may be currently experiencing a stage of reduced superhump amplitude before the final decline (seen in some SU UMa stars). In the latter case, superhumps are expected to grow again. Determination of the contribution from the secondary superhumps is also very important. Please continue the excellent coverage as long as the object is observable! Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
