[vsnet-campaign-dn 2548] V877 Ara refined superhump period

V877 Ara refined superhump period

Dear Colleagues,

   We have received new data from Roland Santallo.  The object still show
vigorous superhumps.  The best superhump period determined from the 2.2-d
baseline is 0.08450(5) d.  This period confirms that V877 Ara belongs to
a member of long-period SU UMa-type dwarf novae.  As in the case of
V359 Cen, further obseravations (esp. superhump timing observations)
are still highly wanted.
