[vsnet-campaign-dn 2396] IY UMa: superhump period increased
We have performed preliminary analysis of the data on May
10-11, which were kindly sent from D. Starkey, L. Cook, J. Pietz,
and A. Oksanen. The superhump period was calculated to be
0.07643(7) d, which is about 2% longer than that we reported last
night. It means the superhump period has increased during May 9-11.
We confirmed the large superhumps (~0.8mag amplitude) in the early
May 11. But the amplitude was again smaller in the late May 11.
We are now having runs at Kyoto and Ouda under clear sky.
Regards,
Makoto Uemura
