CP Dra: shorter-period superhumps? In the light curve taken at Kyoto on March 31, we detected three hump-like features (amplitude ~0.2mag), whose period is roughly estimated to be 0.064 d. This is quite shorter than that previously reported (0.08348 d) in the last superoutburst in 2001 February. I remember that, also during the early phase of the last superoutburst, the shorter-period superhumps were reported by T. Vanmunster (0.0687 d) and the Kyoto team (0.078 d). The object may show a rapid increase of the superhump period in the early phase of superoutbursts. Follow-up observations are essential to confirm the period increase of superhumps. # A summary of the last superoutburst is available from "VSNET 2001" # http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Summary/vsnet2001/vsnet2001.html Regards, Makoto Uemura
