[vsnet-campaign-dn 1935] J2329 recent light curve

J2329 recent light curve

We have analyzed the light curve of J2329 on November 19, 20, and 21
(data from Kyoto team and Tom Krajci; 2276 points). The object keeps
its very gradual decline. The period analysis yielded a shorter
periodicity of 0.044590(16) d. The folded light curve show a sinusoidal
and double-peak profile with an amplitude of about 0.2mag.

After subtracting this periodic profiles, we found another period in
the residual light curve. It is a period of 0.045935(67) d, significantly
longer than that mentioned above. The averaged light curve show a
fast-rise and slow-decline profile with a smaller amplitude of 0.05mag.
If we consider the former and latter are originated from the orbital and
superhump period, respectively, it indicates a superhump excess of 3.9% (!).

Time-series observations are thus still valuable for this object.
We are now having a run on this object at Kyoto under very clear sky.

Regards,
Makoto Uemura
