Subject: [vsnet-sequence 107] Extended sequence for WZ Sagittae
Extended sequence for WZ Sagittae [Version 2001 Sep 19]
WZ Sagittae: RA = 20h07m36s.53, Decl. = +17o42'15".1 (2000.0).
The following list contains data for comparison stars located
within a few arcminutes from WZ Sagittae. The photometry (V and
R magnitudes, plus B-V colours) is based CCD measurements by
A. Henden, USNO. Only stars bluer than B-V < +1.0 are included in
this sequence. The uncertainties in V, R and B-V are about 0.02
mag. for the brighter objects and increasing to c. 0.05 mag. for the
faintest stars. I have made use of all of Henden's published
measurements.
Catalogue indentifications are from Tycho/GSC and USNO-A2.0 (entries
beginning with 1050). Identifications (magnitudes in integer units
of 0.1 mag.) from the AAVSO and Bouma/Van Dijk charts are also given.
This sequence may be useful for visual and CCD observers.

and http://charts.aavso.org/standard/SGE/WZ_SGE/WZSGE-G.GIF .
It should be noted that most of AAVSO's fainter comparison stars
are rather red (B-V > +1.0). Comparison star '139' located a few
arcseconds west of WZ Sge has e.g. V = 13.92 and and B-V = +1.45.
Astrosite Groningen chart by R. Bouma and E. van Dijk is at

In addition to this work, B. Sumner has prepared a UBVRI sequence
based on preliminary measurements by Henden. It is available from
www.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Mail/vsnet-sequence/msg00089.html .
Henden's photometry of this variable and many other objects can
be obtained from http://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/sequence/ .
Yours sincerely,
