WZ Sge: very slow fade continues Dear Colleagues, We have received another set of high-quality data from B. Martin. We are also intensively analyzing the newly acquired Kyoto data. Both observations show a stedy trend of slow decline (up to 0.1 mag/d) after the fading of the 12th rebrightening. Hump features are still impressively seen. Although it is hard to expect what comes next in subsequent days, the star may be entering its final decline stage, or may undergo a next rebrightening after the present "jitter" period. Further observations are strongly encouraged, since this is the first time in the long history of WZ Sge, that such a stage of the outburst can be sufficiently recorded -- we know almost nothing of this stage of the outburst in 1978-1979!
