I reported on my webpage devoted to WZ Sge a similar 
feature, occurred on Aug. 6.04. It is the very same you 
observed. Something similar appeared also the following 
night. I don't know if there is any connection to the 
observing spectral  window, but I worked unfiltered with a 
CCD camera peaking in the R part of the spectrum.

I'm just getting another run, as previously reported. The 
sky is VERY excellent and I hope to get very high S/N 
measurements.
