RX J2315.5-3049 analysis of Oct. 27 data

Dear Colleagues,

    We have finally analyzed the time-series data on RX J2315.5-3049 on
Oct. 27, observed by K. Matsumoto, the Kyoto team.  The observation covered
the later half of and the successive hour to the Ouda observation (vsnet-alert
5344).  The analysis perfectly confirms the existence and the phasing of
humps reported in vsnet-alert 5344.  The outburst was unusually short for
a superoutburst, although the detected hump signature in outburst bore
all characterstics of superhumps.  The analysis of the data on subsequent
nights in progress.  Please keep a continuous watch on this object if
it will erupt in near future.
