Using 32 GSC-ACT stars, the position of KW And in this outburst has
been derived as: R.A. = 2h35m17s.991, Decl. = +41o14'02".47 (J2000.0).
Mean residual is about 0".4.
It seems secure that the USNO_A2.0 star at (end figures) 18s.00,
02".1 is identical to KW And, whose USNO_A2.0 rmag = 17.8 and bmag =
18.6. This star can easily seen on every DSS 1st and 2nd generation
images.
It seems that Kurochkin, 1977, Astron. Tsirk., 974, 4-5 is the only
one reference of the type identification (UG) and the GCVS minimum
magnitude(22:p). It is needed to re-commit this literature for
further discussion, I guess.
