[vsnet-campaign-be 269] Re: V1294 Aql comparisons

Sorry for the delayed response to the V1294 Aql discussion! I use
HD 183265 for the comparison star and HD 183919 for the check star.
Their B-V are close to zero. HD 183265 is a Tycho "C" variability
class. Unfortunately, neither star has any UBV data, so all one can
do is report differential mags and colors relatively to the Tycho
numbers.

I've avoided HD 184571 because of its later spectral type (F2),
but it is the closest of the three stars to V1294 that Sebastian listed.

I hope to get UBVRI photometry of them so that they can be used by
CCD observers. Unfortunately, the stars in Petr's list are too bright
to use with my CCD set-up.

Thom
