Several years ago, Jean Meeus sent a special book he prepared for me giving the Besselian elements of all stars brighter than mag. 3.1 occulted by the Moon from 1900 - 2099. The next occultations of delta Scorpii occur on the following dates: 2003 Sep. 2, Sep. 30, Oct. 27, Nov. 24, & Dec. 21 2004 Jan. 17, Feb. 14, Mar. 12, Apr. 8, May 6, June 2, June 29, July 27, Aug. 23, Sep. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 13, and Dec. 10 2005 Feb. 3. Then there are no more occultations of the star until another similar series starting on 2010 Sep. 13.
