Re: beta CMi fading?

    Acoording to the reports to VSNET, Maciej Reszelski seems to have caught
an outburst(!?) with a CCD camera.  Since this object is blue (B-V = -0.07,
Hipparcos data), the brightening can not be explained by the red CCD
response.  Would this record illustrate the CCD ability to record an
unexpected variable star phenomenon?  Anyway, an examination of these
observations would be a critical test for PIXY for its accuracy.

    I also wonder whether Maciej continued observing this field up to now.
