Good point!! The range 2.0 - 8.5V in the GCVS is surely a mistake since
there are 11 measurements in V in the GCPD and they show that this GCAS:
star ranges between 6.72 and 6.76 in quiescence and rises to 6.63 (two
observations) in outbursts.
So it's a very typical Be star.
