New list: vsnet-be

Dear Colleagues,

    We have set up a new list, vsnet-be, which is designed to notify
noteworthy phenomena, call for observations, other notficications on
Be stars, including GCAS stars and related objects.  This list is equivalent
to vsnet-outburst in dwarf novae.

Important notifications (such as discovery of rare short events, dramatic
changes in the targets, important progress, call for urgent observations etc.)
should be also directed to vsnet-alert as before.  Individual (regular)
observations should be sent to vsnet-obs as before.  For discussions of
general interest, please use vsnet-chat.  VSNET administrators may
forward such messages to other VSNET lists when necessary.

    The initial list of vsnet-be includes members of vsnet-obs and
vsnet-chat.  If one wish to subscribe or unsubscribe to vsnet-be,
please send a message to vsnet-adm, with a text line

    UNSUBSCRIBE vsnet-be your e-mail address

    Please feel free to distribute this message to interested parties
or persons who may be interested in this field of variable stars.
