Dear Colleague,

due to an unexpected down-time of the computer system at IASF-Rome,
the Workshop web page is currently not accessible. This problem is
completely beyond the will and the control of the workshop organizers.
To our knowledge, there is no plan to recover earlier than next week.

Therefore, we are forced to FURTHER EXTEND THE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
DEADLINE to:
		        15 JULY 2002

We invite you to submit your abstract connecting to the workshop web
page, AFTER 9 JULY 2002, when we hope the system will be back in
operation.

We sincerely apologize for any incovenience this may cause.


We again take the opportunity to remind you that, due to the recent
merging of the Italian CNR Institute IAS into the new institute
IASF, the internet domain of the workshop addresses has changed to:

		    "rm.iasf.cnr.it"

Therefore, the Workshop WEB page can now be found at:

	   http://vsnet.rm.iasf.cnr.it/rome2002/

And the e-mail address is:

The old domain "ias.rm.cnr.it" should continue to work for a while, but
