Re: KL Dra: fading? Congratulations to Gianluca Masi and Ugo Tagliaferri on their success of observation! > During the run the star showed a constant fading, loosing 0.05 mag during > the 3+ hours. Please keep observing! As I wrote in an earlier messaeg, the other two known helium dwarf novae (CR Boo and V803 Cen) are known to exhibit relative rapid fading after their initial peak, followed by superoutburst plateau stages (often with significant oscillations). We have received these data from Gianluca Masi and Ugo Tagliaferri, and confirmed the trend reported. After combining the data with our preceding observations (Bisei and Kyoto), we have obtained a preliminary period about 0.5% different (likely longer) from the value reported by Matt Wood. Although we need more data before making a conclusion (since helium dwarf novae usually have complex period change/structure and we need to solve aliasing), this difference may be a suggestion of a superhump-type signal. Please continue the present excellent coverage! Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
