Subject: SAX J1805.5-2031 radio upper limit
Dear VSNet,
VLA 4.86 GHz observations on 9 March 2002 of a roughly 4.5arcmin (radius)
region surrounding the X-ray position of SAX J1805.5-2031 (IAUC 7843) show
no radio source within a 1.8 arcmin radius of that position, to a limit of
0.6 mJy/beam (5sigma). These data were taken in spectral line mode to
avoid chromatic aberration, as the VLA is now in its most extended (A)
configuration. We will continue to monitor this region, but will not
report further non-detections here.
Cheers,
Michael Rupen, NRAO/Socorro
