Dear all,
I have just almost finished my run on V838 Mon in the V band using 40cm
Newtonian telescope of N. Copernicus Observatory in Brno, Czech
Republic. I have obtained almost 600 CCD frames between 2002 Feb. 03.70
and 2002 Feb. 03.05 (UT). The star has brightened of about 0.014 mag
linearly. Using Henden comparison star V= 10.707 (GSC 4822.3559) I
estimate preliminary range 7.53 - 7.45 mag.
I also calculate following averaged data:
20020203.73 7.53V P. Sobotka
20020203.84 7.49V P. Sobotka
20020203.98 7.45V P. Sobotka
Best regards,
Petr Sobotka
