I've posted a single-night UBVRI field photometry file
for this object at

The actual photometry of the possible nova itself is:
RA (J2000) DEC HJD V B-V U-B V-R R-I
106.020068 -3.847484 52285.7223 9.975 1.726 1.916 0.943 0.931
with internal astrometric errors of about 100mas and external
photometric errors of about 0.03mag due to the poor seeing.
((U-B) is more suspect than the other colors because of the
crowded field.) This does not look nova-like to me.
