(fwd) 4C 29.45 = 1156+295 radio outburst! Outburst of the well-known OVV QSO! Date: Tue, 09 Oct 2001 13:32:37 +0200 From: Massimo Villata <villata@to.astro.it> Subject: 1156+295 radio outburst Dear All, the highly polarized and OVV quasar 4C 29.45 (1156+295) is currently observed to undergo an exceptional radio outburst. At the moment the source is close to the Sun, but I'd suggest optical observers to monitor it at the earliest convenience. One can see the recent (1995-2001) optical behaviour at Tom's page http://blazar.colgate.edu/~tbalonek/optical/1156+295.010815a.GIF or radio and optical data in Raiteri et al. (1999, Proc. OJ-94 Annual Meeting 1999, p. 79). Cheers, massimo
