WZ Sge: hump period on Sep. 14-16 Dear Colleagues, Period analysis of the humps between Sep. 14 and 16 (after the 12th rebrightening) has yeilded a period of 0.05760(2) d, which is significantly longer than the orbital period. The period is even strikingly longer than the main superhump period (0.05719-0.05722 d). We must be observing a different (unknown) kind of modulations, possibly other than the well-known "late superhumps". In order to establish the periodicity, intensive, continuous observations are most urgently requested. The mean amplitude of this signal was 0.10 mag. The mean rate of the fading during this period was 0.096 mag/d. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
