XTE J1650-500 According to IAUC 7707, the following variable object (possible optical counterpart) has been identified with the new X-ray transient (reported by Castro-Tirado et al.). 16h 50m 01s.0 -49o 57' 45" (J2000.0, error=2") The preliminary magnitude is reported as B=17. Given the likely large interstellar reddening, the object could be observable visually, or easily with CCD. The circular tells that the identification chart is at http://vsnet.iaa.es/~ajct/XRBs/xtej1650.html
