V844 Her (relatively rare) outburst! The SU UMa-type dwarf nova V844 Her (with a short orbital period) is undergoing a relatively rare outburst. The last outburst occurred in 2000 July (superoutburst). The most unusual characters of this dwarf nova is the apparent absence of normal outburst, while the intervals of superoutbursts are not especially long. Since the superhump period (0.05592 d, IBVS 4902) makes V844 Her a member of "ultrashort" period family (to which WZ Sge also belong), early observations to check the possible presence of early superhumps, and to follow the evolution of superhumps, are encouraged. The present outburst is young enough, and the chance to accomplish the job is high. If you have three telescopes and CCDs ;-), observe WZ Sge, V844 Her and HO Del simultaneously...
